Vision

A city where every neighborhood enjoys shade, clean air, and shared pride in place.

Each tree planted today is a promise for tomorrow. We imagine a greener, healthier, and more connected Clarksville for generations to come.

Mission & Social Impact

Mission. Replant urban spaces, restore neglected areas, and empower residents with practical stewardship skills.

  • Revitalize riverfront and park corridors through native trees and habitat-friendly landscaping.
  • Build a culture of care via quarterly clean-ups and neighborhood planting days.
  • Inspire youth to lead through hands-on learning and mentorship.

Programs & Initiatives

Campaign • 1,000 Trees for Clarksville

We aim to plant 1,000 native trees in priority areas — underserved neighborhoods, riverside buffers, and community parks. Species focus includes oak, maple, and dogwood suited to Tennessee’s climate.

  • Site selection in partnership with local neighborhoods and park stewards.
  • Seasonal planting windows with care plans for watering and mulching.
  • Impact tracking via a public Green Map of planted trees.
Quarterly • Community Green Day

Once each quarter (Feb, May, Aug, Nov), volunteers gather to remove litter, plant trees, paint green murals, and practice low-waste event habits.

  • Average of 150 volunteers per event.
  • Zero single-use plastics policy; bring-your-bottle hydration stations.
  • Neighborhood-led planning and celebration.
Youth • Green Kids

Hands-on sessions for elementary and middle schoolers to plant, care for, and protect trees in schoolyards and community gardens.

  • Simple “plant–care–protect” curriculum with field practice.
  • 500+ students engaged in 2024; expanding with teen mentors.
Partners • Green Partner

We collaborate with local businesses to plant on campuses and sponsor trees in parks. Each sponsored tree can feature a small recognition plaque.

  • Site days tailored for employee volunteering.
  • Recognition on-site and in our year-end impact brief.
